SPEAKING

1. A Gift took you a long time to choose

Well, I remember that I had to spend a remarkably long time to sort out a gift for my best teacher. She was my Chemistry teacher at secondary school, who I admired and considered as my second mother because of her dedicated and deep understanding her pupils. After I had left from that school few years, she went to France to reunite with her family. Last year, she came back Vietnam for visiting her students and friends. I had to think of choosing what the gift for her as memory. I went shopping to look for some special things for her, but it took me a long time. Because of two reasons. Firstly, there are a variety of products but I do not know about my teacher’s hobby; Secondly, she nearly  has everything that she needs. Therefore, finding a suitable present for her is extremely a challenge for me.  Fortunately, I and some my classmates, we gathered together with our teacher for dinner few days before she was back home, I took some our memorable photographs. Immediately, I thought about printing the most beautiful picture into crystal to make 3D crystal gifts, because it is the only way for us to keep our memory forever.Surprisingly, my teacher also loved it so much. I was satisfied because, at least, I had tried to find a meaningful gift for my beloved teacher.

2.   A change to improve your local area

Well, when mentioning about a change to improve my local area, I accidentially think about water drainage systems. Obviously, District 7 is surrounded by so many rivers, from which the atmosphere seems cooler but there are also some drawbacks. Monthly, there are variety of roads covered by water due to tide.Especially in rainy season, most of roads in local area look like river. Inundation can affect to community seriously. Therefore, an effective water drainage system is essentially considerable at this time in District 7. It will deter water overflow in city both in rainy seasons and monthly tidal cycles. This  rennovation will not only keep a fresh environment but also protect the citizens from ailment issues caused by inundation in two ways. Firstly, when inundationis excluded, citizens’ health will be safer because they are protected from different germs of diseases in dirty water, from skin diseases to others like digestive and respiratory system diseases. Secondly, with water overflow, there is a smelly odour  fully filled the whole of area within hours when it’s windy that makes the environment influenced severely.

3.   A small, successful company

Well, I will tell you about a company that is small but highly successful and quite popular with everyone is Instagram. This is an online mobile photo sharing, video sharing, and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, and share them either publicly or privately on the app, as well as through a variety of other social networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter…I tried  using Instagram and I quickly loved it. I think Instagram is a small and successful company because of two reasons. Firstly, up to now, Instagram has been running run by only 13 employees, including the founders, then their service has rapidly gained popularity, with over 100 million active users as of April 2012 and over 300 million  of December 2014.Instagram is distributed through the Apple App Store , Google Play and Window.Based on the Internet and wireless technology, millions of people around the world use Instagram everyday. Secondly, it achieved many precious prizes. For example, it was listed among Time”s 50 Best Android Applications for 2013.

4. A person who dresses well

Well, let me tell you about one person who dressed well, he is David Beckham, a famous football player in England, this is one of the men’s perfect fashion model in modern life. David dominated in the best dressed man ranking so many times. He dresses well because of two reason. Firstly, his style alters flexibly in different situations. In Beckham, there are two completely opposite fashion, relying on each circumstance. In the cultural or sport events, he often wears extremely elegant model, the graceful jackets fitted his body size, with suitable ties in highlight. But in casual life, his fashion is still not easy-going.This gentleman normally picks out the simple things, such as jeans, T-shirts, especially leather coats in biker style and beret hat. Those things are never out of model. Secondly, his fashion is harmony, fashionable, and simple in clothes.

5.A place  can be  good to relax

Well, I am going to talk about my ideal place to relax and also a famous tourist attraction in Southern of Vietnam, Vung Tau beach, it is about 120km from the HCM city. I love Vung Tau simply because of two reasons. Firstly, Vung Tau hasvivid scenery, a white and fine sand seaside, the waves from the blue crystal water flap to the shore consecutively that sounds like the lyrics of song. At the beach, children were running along the seashore, gathering choice pebbles, shells and seaweeds, others were busy digging sand and buildingsand castles. Everything creates the liveliest scenery. Besides the landscape, seafood here is also very delicious. It can be found variety of seafood here, such as crabs, shrimps, marine fish, squids…that can make different dishes in Western or Asia or even Vietnamese cuisine. We can enjoy seafood either at seashore or in many local restaurants. A holiday by the sea brought me more energy and relaxation after months of hard working. Personally, Vung Tau is a beautiful and peaceful place that I will come back to Vung Tau every summer.

6. Work at home or office

Well, when mentioning about working at home or office, I would like to mention the benefits of working at home as well as working in the office. The benefits of working from home are undeniable, because of two reasons. Firstly, some of employee health problems related to office life such as: strained eyes, stress, poor posture, lack of proper food, and need of sleep make for many issues in working life. An employee, in theory, can manage such matters from home with regular breaks and properly prepared food. Secondly, the work vs home life balance, Workat home allows people more time to be spent on home and family life. When people work more flexibly they can have more time with the family and other issues, such as sharing the responsibility of childcare and engagement input into their children’s’ lives, can be managed more carefully.  On the other hand, the benefits of office life are also admitted. Firstly, it is socially creative environment:Collective offices can be incredibly creative and dynamic places to work. Colleagues can bounce ideas around and inspire each other, by face-to-face contact. Physically working alongside colleagues can create a lively business.Secondly, it is discipline, many people work best with the firm structure and routine that comes with office life

7.   Being a creator or follower

Well, I’ll tell you about advantages of both being a creator and a follower. To some people, being a creator is attractive. Firstly, a good leader will get the respect and admiration of others, because the creator could help a lot of followers do good things not only for their lives but also their families.Besides that, a creator can contribute many good decisions for their company. Therefore, they will develop their company in term of reputation and quality. For example, in my hospital, the new director has well organized and arranged out-patient department, then the clearest effect is that the patient’s waiting time is reduced significantly. On the other hand, being a follower also has advantages. Firstly, they have less responsibility/ responsibilities. A leader often spends long time in workplace to solve many problems related to personnel, finances, contracts…but any workers only concentrate  on their daily work. Furthermore, the employee suffers less stress, they do not have to spend sleepless nights doing all the work, therefore they feel more peaceful in their mind, although they often get lower salaries.

8.      Living in a modern building or ancient house

Well, it is hard to choose between living in a modern building or ancient house, because each of them has their own benefits.Living in anancient house makes me feel comfortable and peaceful. Those houses are usually cheap in price, tranquility, and people around are almost hospitable.Furthermore, most of traditional houses have yards. The ownerscan build a small garden with many kinds of flowers and fruit trees, which is almost impossible in apartment building yards. Together with watering and taking care the green plants, people also can do exercise to improve their health. However, living in a modern building helps people approach the newest facilities, such as internet, cable television, air conditioner, washing machine…People not only easily contact with others far away, update news around the world, but their housework also is reduced minimally. Those things help people so much in their busy life in the city. Moreover, the modern building is always in high safety with different latest devices, such as fire protection equipment, security camera…Therefore, people feel safer, more secure and their lives are kinds of high quality.
